Fabulous stew of R&B, rock, jazz, and a smattering of reggae flavor! Tight musically and good energy on Hunter's original clever songwriting as well as a couple fun covers. Baur's is a great, intimate venue. Definitely want to see James Hunter Six again!

Groups of young and middle age men dancing unselfconsciously? It can only be a James Hunter show. He was up against stiff competition in Manchester on Saturday however the small yet appreciative crowd enjoyed each and every tune. If possible, they sound better live than on record.

What a joy to be present at a show of the James Hunter Six. Great band...great music.
