Ostinato entered daylight in 1997. This well-talented trio out of somewhere between Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia, USA, understand how to mix different styles like noise, dreampop, or even undescribable jazzy things into their music concentrating on the paths of post-rock. Their newest Output, "chasing the form" marks a break with the "conventional meaning" of post-rock music. This eightpiece bombast draws a mixture of genre never considered by any other band before...ostinato are also well-known due to their excessive and stirring live-performances.
