BlackRose

Sam Dwyer is the original founder of BlackRose, he first developed singing in 2007, and developed his screaming voice in 2009, and in 2014, his scream evolved. And in 2011, he decided to create aDark Metalcore band, and he named it BlackRose. And for a few years, he searched for me,bears but had no luck. In January 2015, he wrote the first official song of BlackRose while moshing out to Motionless In White. The song was called "Below The Waves". And followed to write seven more as of May 2015. In late April, the band got its second member. Lance Overduin, he became the Drummer and Backup Vocalist of BlackRose. The tables were starting to really turn when on Friday, May 8th, 2015 the band found its 3rd member, Michael Stephen. He became the band's Guitarist, Bassist and Tech Guy. In September 2015, the band found its first Bassist, Angel Tapia who contributes Rhythm Guitar, in November of the same year the band found their cufrrent drummer, Jake Glazier. The band has grown and grown each passing month since January 2015. BlackRose had its first show with up In Smoke & Without Hope on October 9th, 2015 by doing two songs: "Garage of Thornz" and "Below the Waves". IN November 2015, Mike Stephen departed BlackRose to follow other dreams. Thus, in December, the band got its new Lead Guitarist-Tyler Medders, A Rhythm Guitarist- Jacob Miller, & its Keyboardist-Nat Burcham. In February 2016, Jacob Miller & Angel Tapia departed the band, but remain to this day a part of the BlackRose family. in May 2016, BlackRose's lineup was nearly complete, James Leu as their Bassist and Max Ross as their Drummer. The band since then has strived for their sound to be perfected and to reach out and grasp the door handleof the door to opportunity. in mid-2016, Sam Dwyer, the Vocalist & Founder of the band issued a statement to the fans and family of BlackRose: "When BlackRose takes the stage, the walls will whisper our name throughout the coming years, the winds will screech when the breakdown hits, the Earth will shake when the Drums clash, the Oceans will rise when the Guitars shred, The Sky will be of red when the bass hits and Heaven & Hell will move when the Vocals are heard."
