Trixy Tang

TRIXY TANG is a hard rock band based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Formed in 2013 by vocalist, Klay Fennema, the group began as a local 80’s cover band.
After making a splash on the scene and “paying their dues”, the band began making traction and a name for themselves.
At the time, the line up consisted of members Klay went to High School with, but as time passed and the hobby became more serious and time consuming, the line up made a shift as members had other obligations come their way.

In 2017, the puzzle pieces came together after careful consideration and the band went on cruising ever since, as Klay’s ultimate goal for the band was to write music, and put out albums as well as continuing to tour and play the regional club scene.

Trixy Tang ventured out to Memphis, TN. to record a 4 song EP titled “Sunday Cruisin” in 2018 which went on to become extremely popular with fans and gained radio airplay as well. The group then began writing vigorously again, and ventured back to Memphis, TN to finish their Full Length Self Titled Album “Trixy Tang” consisting of 11 original songs.
The Album was released in April of 2019 and was a staple moment in the band’s accomplishments.
In August of 2019, Trixy Tang was awarded The #1 Best Original Band in West MI. By Revue Magazine.
Trixy Tang performs nearly 48 weeks of the year each year. The guys thoroughly enjoy performing covers as well as their own music, and continue to play the Bar Scene, Outdoor shows, Festivals, and share big stages with some of the biggest groups of the 80’s.
The group has been honored to have shared stages all over with our influences such as: Jackyl, Stryper, Great White, Warrant, LA GUNS, Sebastian Bach, Dokken, Faster Pussycat, and so many more.
