With a twisted combination of No Doubt and P!NK’s stage persona matched with a Madonna-like sensuality and grit, the dynamic of this group is palpable. Tasting Grace is fronted by singer/songwriter Jenna “Grace” Milano, “the hot blonde with a very strong and powerful voice that can definitely hold a candle to Evanescence singer Amy Lee,” according to Aquarian Weekly. Milano’s signature look shines through in vibrant stage attire, slinky dance moves, and a “rocker chick meets pop princess” attitude. When Miss Jenna Grace was asked how to describe her image and style she replied: “Someone once called me their “Little Diva Rock Star Girl” and I was like YES, that’s it!” Tasting Grace was born in 2006 when Singer Jenna Grace and guitarist Drew Leeds were placed in each other’s path and their musical talent and chemistry quickly inspired them to pursue the journey together. Both Jenna Grace and Drew leeds are Rockers at heart, but Jenna brought a whole new dimension to the band with her love of fashion, glamour and pop culture! Together they set out to prove they could successfully and creatively merge good old-fashioned Rock n’ Roll with the glitz and glam of modern day Pop! Jenna and Drew wanted to leave their mark and began their mission by seeking out a highly talented bass player and drummer who were equally passionate and could share in the same vision and join them in their relentless pursuit to fulfull their dreams! After countless auditions and hours of frustrations fate suddenly turned when current bassist, a humbled Willy Toledo entered their studio with bass in hand. Toledo plugged in while leeds and Milano bagan playing and within minutes their was an apparent chemistry between the three of them that could not be denied. This day would mark the new beginning of Tasting Grace and together this ambitious trio would begin writing music together while continuing their hunt for the final missing piece to their puzzle, a drummer who could match the precedent that has been set for this talented group. It took more than a year and just when they thought it wasn’t possible to meet their expectations, fate once again, delivered them a gift and this time in one of the most unusual places, in the food court of a local mall! “You can’t tell us that wasn’t fate” says Milano. The band was playing a promotional acoustic show for Hot Topic next to the food court when unbenounced to us, Drummer and then U.S. Army Seargent, Johnny Rox, was listening to our show while grabbing a bite to eat! Jenna Milano jokingly asked the crowd if there were any drummers out there and by her surprise, Johnny raised his hand and said “I AM” with a big mouth full of food! As soon as the show was over they immediately approached Johnny Rox, hit it off within seconds and the very next day he was booked for an audition. When Rox showed up to the audition, the crew got right down to business, Jenna, Drew and Willy began to play their 5 song set and within seconds Rox jumped on drums, joined in and impressively played every one of their songs beat for beat. Once again, they had hit the jackpot! Is it to good to be true? A fourth member that also shares in the same views, perspectives, goals and dreams? Tasting Grace was finally complete!
