Sadly, Eric wasn’t feeling his best so the set was cut short. I was super bummed being from the same hometown as Eric finally getting to see Shallow Side live for the first time since becoming a fan in 2016. The opening act which likely had nothing to do with SS was so horrible it kinda got me in a bad mood, then the main show got cut short.

The show itself was amazing.
Venue was beautiful, however the staff, not so much.
I paid for the VIP and I was waiting outside with other people waiting to come in BEFORE the door open time. and no one came out so I went in, and because it was 7:04 the group already left to the VIP and I was not allowed to go down. So I spent extra money, didn’t get the experience, because no one was at the door helping anyone.
Other than that, great time.

About Shallow Side
The Cullman, Alabama-based rockers in Shallow Side spent part of 2022 and early part of 2023 recording new music, they have just released “You're The Reason” the follow up to "The Worst Kind". Both songs were Produced by Chris Dawson and Jimmy Beattie and Mastered by Mike Kalajiian @ Rogue Planet Mastering.
Since coming into the rock scene, Shallow Side has released a little of everything - including several EPs, a full-length album, plus a number of assorted cover songs and singles. All their music since 2006 has come out under Thermal Entertainment whom is also their management.
Their EP, ONE spurred three radio singles: "Rebel", "Renegade" (a powerful Styx cover) and "Can You Hear Me?" that began to get them noticed and earned them the title of Loudwire's 'Best New Artist of the Year'. In 2019, the band released their first full-length album SAINTS & SINNERS which contained their most streamed-song to date, "Sound The Alarm".
Their extensive music catalog has now surpassed more than 60 million streams globally, and their music videos have eclipsed 15 million views on their YouTube channel.
