PRYDE

Pryde is a young band fonded in 2008 from south of france and composed of 6 members. With a first demo ep soberly entitled "Pryde" in 2009 acclaimed by the specialized press, as well as many shows done back then, the band released in 2010, its debut album Absence of Light recorded at the Deven prod Studio, under the label Brennus Music. Featuring a clever mixture of incisive and energetic riffs, immersive and catchy melodies, Pryde’s music is a mix of various influences. Drawing into the roots of Power Metal, a touch of Progressive with some darker and aggressive touch, their music is driven by the powerful voice of Val. This subtle blend and that will to not put a label on its music, gives Pryde that special sound. Victorious in several music contest and some opening shows for famous bands like Adagio, Myrath, Blazing War Machine or Heavenly, Pryde increases gigs with desire of recognition! Pushed by the critical success of its first album, the band returned to the Deven Prod Studio in 2012 and released in February 2013 its second album entitled Psychocentesis, a concept album which deals with psychological and mental disorders.
