"Defuse" is the Techno alias of Dan Scot!!

Defuse was created with the sole intention of separating the multi talents of Psy Trance alias Dan Scot and magnifying his Underground sound of Techno.

Coming from a musically orientated Scottish family he was raised with music from as early as he could walk. Fast forward 20 years of which in that time playing alongside some of the finest artists/producers, local and international, airing on numerous online and FM radio stations including 5FM, Goodhope Fm, Bush Radio and his own insert on George Daniels show on Assembly Radio “The Techno Takeover” and you have yourself an aspiring dj with a mad hunger for entertaining an audience through grooving electronic dance music. It is undeniably evident that this fella has an eye for reading a crowd!

DeFuse has been on line-ups for club and promotional giants such as Hello Techno, Residence, Bang Bang Club, ERA, Trinity, Madison Avenue, Reset, Dragon Room, Fiction, Club 4040, Sunday Satisfaction, Vice City, Bullion Bar, Club 89, ICU, Chukkachurri aswell as Kulture and Absolute in Durban. He has also performed at outdoor festivals such as Synergy Music Festival, Boomerang NYE, Sneaky Grounds, Ground Zero, One World NYE, Groovy Troopers, One Festival Durban, Connexion NYE Festival Durban, Equinox Enchanted Forest 2018, Summer Camp, Elysium Durban and Alien Safari’s Rezonance NYE festival on the Delta stage.
