Y’all played with 2 of the most iconic bands there are. I enjoyed the whole show. It’s my opinion yall were the best. You know a lot of people don’t show up for the opening bands. I would have been so mad had I not made it in time to see yall. I can’t wait to see ya again maybe in a smaller venue (Cone Denim in Greensboro would be amazing). That way I can get closer to the action. Great job guys!!!!!!!

6th time seeing Black Stone Cherry and once again they were awesome. Their energy and musicianship is second to none. Both Chris and Ben are phenomenal guitarists and after last night we now know that Steve can shred as well. And is there another drummer on the planet who plays with the intensity and power than John Fred? Not a chance. He absolutely kills that drum kit every single night and last night at Jergel’s was no exception. He is just awesome to watch. Only disappointment was they didn’t close the show and play a longer set. And as always, they still have the greatest merch guy in the business. Great seeing you again Dean! Berzerkus up next.

I believe this was my 10th time seeing Black Stone Cherry and this performance was just as good as the first. The only difference is they now have a much bigger catalog of songs to play and sing to. Absolutely love these guys and will be seeing them again next time they're around!!

About Black Stone Cherry

Kicking the door open into 2023, Black Stone Cherry have revealed a brand-new song, "Out of Pocket." The song is out now via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group and is available on all streaming platforms. You can listen to it https://youtu.be/OWt6I-J3-lQ The song drops in time for fans to get pumped up for their upcoming co-headline UK arena tour with British rockers The Darkness, which begins at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena on the 28th of January. The tour then roars its way around the country, playing Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena, Glasgow's OVO Arena, Birmingham's Resorts World Arena, Manchester AO Arena, and Leeds First Direct Arena before a major headline show in London at the Wembley OVO Arena on the 4th of February. You can get tickets from HERE. "Out of Pocket" is the band's first new song since the release of their 2020 album The Human Condition and is another trade mark rocker from their locker. Emotionally rousing with a roof-raising battle cry chorus, it shows the band at their anthemic best. The lifelong friends Chris Robertson, vocals/guitar; Ben Wells, guitar/vocals; and John Fred Young, drums, welcome their new bass player Steve Jewell on his first studio recordings, having slayed the stages with them over the past two years. Talking about the song Chris Robertson says, "’Out of Pocket’ is a song born out of that exact feeling. The song was what I personally, and I think a lot of us, felt over these very trying last couple of years. Facing your demons, knowing that you have to come out the other side stronger than before." Over the past two decades, the Kentucky Southern rockers have shaken stages from arenas to festivals across Europe, bringing the good times every time. In 2021 they fulfilled a lifetime ambition of playing London's iconic Royal Albert Hall, bringing an incredibly emotional and powerful performance. Now it's time to blow the roof off those arenas once again. Black Stone Cherry have 2023 firmly in their sights and are taking it, lock, stock and barrel.
