The Big Unkle

The Big Unkle was founded by John Henderson, the former bassist of rock fusion power trio, The Other Element in 2009. TBU is an original instrumental funk/jazz fusion project that has performed in some of Philadelphia's major music venues including: The Trocadero, JC Dobbs, The Dawson Street Pub, Dave and Buster's (Penn's Landing), The Reef on South Street, The Hard Rock Cafe, The North Star Bar, Peppers in KofP, The Attic, The Rusty Nail (Ardmore), The Blinkin' Lincoln, etc. The list goes on... TBU has also earned a reputation for its charity work by performing for local non-profit, community groups and civic events and marathons that benefit organizations and causes. Ultimately TBU wants to provide the soundtrack for the following axiom: Good People in Good Places lead to Good Things! "Knowledge speaks, but wisdom--wisdom listens." Jimi Hendrix
