J Roddy Walston and The Business

I saw these guys for the first time at ACL in 2014 and fell in love. Saw them as an undercard for My Morning Jacket at One Big Holiday 4. Last night was a great crowd for a Wednesday and the band delivered a stunning high energy performance. I went solo and had an absolute blast, there were zero lulls throughout the show and I loved how j roddy sang the beginnings of the more popular tunes in a beautiful melody where you didn’t even know what song it was at first. Love watching these guys get bigger, they have real top class talent.

J Roddy always brings it as usual. Sounded great except they needed to turn his mic 🎤 up a lot more. Also didn’t play midnight cry WTF?! Maybe they could of played a couple more if they were headlining. Murder by Death is not a headlining act in my opinion.

The band was on fire! Followed them to the Belly Up after seeing them in LA the night before, and they were totally worth the drive. I really wish they came out here more often. I could go see these guys every week!

I felt bad for both J Roddy and his opener. The crowd energy was poor. That doesn’t change how good they were and how much they made my night. Great show.

Awesome! They were on par with the band they opened for. These guys will be headliners. The drummer stole the show for me personally! Can't wait to see them again!!!

One of the most electrifying bands I've ever seen. If you want to sing and jump up and slam your head around, these are the guys who can can help you!

best J.Roddy show I've seen so far, played Caroline and Brave Man's Death.. band seemed irritated by sound issues at the Social - but from where I was standing they sounded incredible.

Wished all of the bar at Amos Southend was open. And it could have been a longer set per band. Ended at 12 midnight. Thought it would have been at least 2am before the concert was gonna be over.

Great live music, openers (sleepwalkers) were killer too! Felt like I was sent back in time, these guys are classic and talented.

What a night! They really rocked the Bottleneck. Can't wait to see them again. Come back soon!!!

Fantastic. High energy, great music ... They rocked the house! This was definitely one of the best shows I've seen this year.

The Lagunitas brewery has a quaint little grass outdoor area that was perfect for these bands! It was intimate enough anywhere you were! J Roddy rocked it out AND so did their opener San Geronimo! I was quite impressed with how great their sound system was! Hope to be there again soon!

JRoddy is ALWAYS a great show!! Seemed to fly by this time, but loved every minute of it and will check him out next time he's in town!

Awesome show! J. Roddy never disappoints. It's the 3rd time I've seen them at Headliners and each show has been great. Best live band working right now.
