About Fields Of Troy
Fields Of Troy started out in september 2010 with Ypres as homebase.
While writing new stuff for Blood Redemption the band came up with a musical style that refers more to what was done in de late Solid period, but flavoured with rock elements and the intensity of Blood Redemption.
After 2 years of intense playing Fields Of Troy was forced to a new line up, twice.
Members are Jürgen Elias on bass (ex-Distorted, Blood Redemption), Sven Herssens (Vienna)and Nick Vanduynslager on guitars, Lothar Ryheul on drums. The band is fronted by Louis Soenens (ex-Horizons).
Fields Of Troy provides all the elements of a metal band with its combination of speed and heaviness wrapped up in a package of melody, influenced by bands like Tremonti, Mastodon and Alice in Chains.
