About A Day Worth Dying For

A Day Worth Dying For is the brainchild and culmination of music careers for four musicians from Alabama. These careers have been spent brooding with obsessions of two things: Brutal Metal and Zombies. Formed in 2010, A Day Worth Dying For, began with Cody Davis as the frontman, Jason Martin on Guitar, and Lance Breasseale behind the drum kit. Having spent time together in She. Is. Dead., Davis and Breasseale helped the band gel immediately. Jason Martin, coming from Pains and Sins, brought a sometimes melodic guitar sound to the table, and once it finally took shape, they entered the studio and recorded their early 2011 demo entitled "The Patient Zero Files". After a string of failed bass players, in true Metal fashion, a drunken Cody Davis found himself at a party where he ran into a long time friend, R.C. Morton-Maystein. He presented the demo and asked R.C. to pick up the bass, and he agreed. As the frontman and guitarist for The Cut Throat Conspiracy, R.C. brought three things the band so desperately required: An amazing bass tone, back up vocals, and the final push from metalcore to deathcore. As members of other bands such as Ardurous, Escape Artist, All Known Anonymous and Zenkil, ADWDF members have opened for bands such as MyChildrenMyBride, Die Young, Horse The Band, Evans Blue, Kings X, Carnifex, Salt The Wound, Your Chance to Die, The Air I Breathe, Famous Last Words, Mayelen and the Sons of Disaster and Goatwhore. So, seeing a show from these guys is ALWAYS worth the price of admission, to be sure. With their debut full length due out in the fall of 2013 aptly titled "The Outbreak", an absolutely rabid group of fans thanks to being picked up on a popular internet radio station, and a never ending supply of zombie inspiration, ADWDF contains and exudes a momentum they have obtained on their own terms. and when the last walker falls, ADWDF will be the one holding the revolver. Melodic Death/Deathcore from Birmingham Alabama abundant with Zombie, Geek and apocalyptic themes. To book us inquire at adayworthdyingforbooking@gmail.com
