Après un premier album en forme d’éclosion aquatique (No One Knows We’re Here, paru en 2010), Alice Lewis, devenue bel oiseau de nuit bariolé, prend un nouvel envol avec Your Dreams Are Mine. Mélangeant épopées electro et balades mélancoliques, Your Dreams Are Mine ressemble à la fusion d’un Nick Cave au féminin et de Kraftwerk updatés 2014, soufflant le chaud et le froid sur le dancefloor ou la chambre d’écoute. Alice Lewis y développe son sens aigu de la mélodie pop, entraînante ou romantique, au service de paroles dont l’onirisme oscille, tel un métronome, entre lumière zénithale et abîmes sans fonds.
