Vitowar

Vitowar’s career begins in 1986 and 2 years later, in 1988, Radio Popolare Network in Milan asked him to conduct Reggae Radio Station Italy, a program entirely dedicated to the Jamaican music.

More than 20 years have passed and Vitowar is still on air every Sunday night: for many people he’s still a point of reference for listening and spreading the reggae music in Italy.

The radio selections, his suggestions and his critics are very much appreciated and every week he proposes news alternated to historical Jamaican songs.

Vitowar, always working actively in Milan, has been organizing since many years small and big events giving to many national and international artists the chance to perform on prestigious stages.

His fans call him “The Godfather of Reggae” and his Reggae Radio Station Nights guarantee excellent musical choices and wonderful live concerts.

Every year Vitowar is live on radio & webradio from ROTOTOM SUNSPLASH, the Italian reggae festival which, for inexplicable reasons, has been transferred in Spain since last year.

Vitowar, a real pioneer in his country, in 2011 has celebrated 25 years of career, organizing in Milan a big event with the participation of TURBOLENCE & WARRIOR KING from Jamaica and of his best friend and dj David Rodigan from London, who shared with him the consolle and set the dancehall on fire.
