Only saw this advertised the day before and was really keen to check them out, having seen a few videos on YouTube.
The band were great. It was really tight on the small stage for all 6 members but they gave it 100%. Both vocalists were really good, engaged the crowd and lived up to expectations. The guitars, bass, drums, and keyboard were equally impressive.
Must admit, I’m not really familiar with most of their music, but they got me singing, clapping, jumping, head banging along. I’m sure, had the venue been full, there would’ve been a good pit too.
Was going to give 4 stars because the set was quite short, but the band were delayed through no fault of their own, so it’s 5 stars for this quality band who deserve a bigger following.

About Semblant
Formed in the year of 2006 in Curitiba/PR, the Brazilian band Semblant has structured itself after a few line-up changes and is considered nowadays as one of the most important band of Dark/Gothic Metal in the country, classified by the specialized media as one of the first Vampiric Metal's band in Brazil. Despite the characterizations, it is impossible to label the sound of the band, presenting an extremely heavy sound (lead by two seven-strings guitars and fast and precise drumming), besides the versatility on the vocals.
