About Nadia Birkenstock - Celtic Harp & Song
Nadia Birkenstock
is a lever harp performer, singer and composer based in Germany and in France.
She started her vocal studies on a scholarship in the USA and studied voice with a degree in classical vocal pedagogy at the Music conservatory of Düsseldorf in Germany.
During her classical studies, she launched her first lever harp concert programs, with a repertoire of both complex arrangements of traditional music and her own compositions.
She has been performing and teaching at festivals all over Europe and the USA and frequently plays for the Irish consulates in Germany.
She has released numerous CDs with Labels in Germany and France. Her award-winning recordings have been licensed for international films, documentaries, and music productions of various genres.
Due to her unique way of combining compositions and visual storytelling in self-produced videos, Nadia’s YouTube channel quickly became a popular resource of original harp compositions and creative arrangements for performers, teachers, and students around the globe.
