Miles Mosley

L.A. born Miles Mosley is a true force on the upright bass, incorporating effects pedals, his bow, his vocals and a horn section for his one-of-a-kind leaning solo projects. Mosley is also a founding member and upright bassist for the acclaimed Los Angeles-based West Coast Get Down collective (WCGD). In addition to his WCGD and solo projects, he has performed, recorded, produced and toured with artists including Kendrick Lamar, the late Chris Cornell, Kamasi Washington, Christina Aguilera, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Andra Day, Jeff Beck, Rihanna and Cee Lo Green. Considered one of the world's 'premiere upright bassists', many have called him the "Jimi Hendrix of the Upright Bass" and a "master musician and live performer".

As a composer, Mosley has won multiple awards for his original compositions in Film/TV and commercial media campaigns, including The Muppets Movie and Dead Island Riptide. His compositions have been used by numerous companies including Dreamworks, Warner Brothers, Sony Films + TV, Capcom, Activision and many more. Signed to Universal Music Group/Verve Label Group in 2017, he is working on his next album, while touring with long-time collective/band member Kamasi Washington.
