Hybrid are a duo of British recording artists and film composers, Mike and Charlotte Truman who have gained international acclaim for their ability to combine contemporary electronic music with enveloping orchestral scores and soundscapes.

Their first artist album ‘Wide Angle’ in 1999 was considered to be ground breaking in fusing modern production with performances from the Russian Federal Orchestra. They have written a further four artist albums, toured around the world’s most iconic music venues and festivals and have remixed artists as diverse as Radiohead, UNKLE, Jean Michelle Jarre, Moby, Future Sound of London, The Orb and New Order.

A natural progression from their orchestral heavy albums led them into film scoring and they have worked on titles including The Fast and Furious franchise, X Men Origins : Wolverine, Total Recall, Hercules and Man On Fire. The duo have recently composed and produced the soundtrack for John Stephensons’s Mozart biopic, Interlude In Prague. Other recent scores include Jim Gillespie’s thriller, Take Down, the PS4 worldwide #1 game, Driveclub and Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Their heavyweight combination of soaring orchestration and cutting edge production keeps them in high demand amongst film makers. This passion and attention to detail is equally reflected in their own artist albums. Mike and Charlotte have just released their highly anticipated 5th studio album on Distinctive Records in 2018.
