In a short space of time, they have completed a recording session with Grammy- Winning producer Trevor Gibson (The Enemy, Lilly Allen), Gavin Monaghan (The Editors, Paolo Nutini) and Chris Kimsey (The Rolling Stones, Duran Duran, INXS) at KORE Studios, London. Not to mention, traveling on a luxury sleeper tour bus from Paris to Switzerland to perform at Montreux Jazz Festival alongside Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams and Ed Sheeran. The band have also built a following after performing at Boomtown Fair Festival and at Musikmesse 2015, Frankfurt. Additionally, they have gained much success by winning two European music competitions; SHURE Call for Legends and CASIO Digital Stage Piano Act. For those new to FINGERTRAP, think rock hooks with pop sassiness, a band whose chaotic stage presence has even more energy than a can of Red Bull. Just one listen to the infectiously catchy ‘Return If Found’ and you’ll be on your feet dancing and throwing shapes to the raucous groove of ‘Until We Get There’ and 'Body Popping'. FINGERTRAP are a band who don’t just urge, but compel an audience to feed off the energy of their live performance, as witnessed by their live shows winnings over not only the SHURE Call For Legends judges, but the likes of Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) and Andrew Shay (Kids In Glass Houses).
