Filligar consists of Casey Gibson, Johnny, Pete, and Teddy Mathias.


According to the Illinois Entertainer, "Pop rock prodigies Filligar are scary good." Renowned national rock critic Jim DeRogatis gave a great review of their album ”The City Tree” (recorded at Gravity Studios, 2007). In July of 2008, Filligar was asked by Roe Conn- one of Chicago’s top rated radio personalities recognized by Talkers Magazine as one of the "100 Most Influential Talk Show Hosts in America"- to come on his show a one hour special about the band.

Last year they were awarded "Youth Ensemble of the Year" by the Madison Area Music Awards (MAMAs). This year their music has been featured on the season premiere of Real World: Hollywood and most recently on MTV’s Buzzin’. Filligar is now a featured artist on MTV , VH1 , and Billboard.
