Etta May

Fantastic!!! It was our first time ever seeing her and she didn't disappoint us!!!! Definitely looking forward to seeing her again the next time she's in town. If anyone has never seen her I highly recommend you watch her and go see her live she's AMAZING!!!!

She was fantastically funny and her humor was so down to earth. It reminded me so much of my West Virginia grandma. Loved the show but it could have lasted all night. I definitely would have stayed and listened to her.

Her show was great! My best friend and I had an amazing time! My mom was supposed to go with me, but she was unable to make it due to medical issues. Etta May is her favorite comedian of all time and it really upset my mom she couldn't go. But I met Etta May after the show she was kind enough to do something special for my mom (i won't say what so people don't bug her all the time to do it lol)! She is amazingly kind and so so so sweet to everyone who met her after the show! My mom hasn't stopped talking about it 🤣 Thank you Etta May! You have no idea how much that meant to me and my mom!!!

First time I had been to this theatre. The place was very nice. Clean and the chairs were very comfortable. The staff from the ticket lady to the ushers and concession stand people were so very nice. This was my first time seeing Etta May. She was wonderful

The venue was absolutely clean small and perfect held about 800 people was not a sold-out show. We laughed had fun I've seen Etta May before. Both on Facebook and YouTube enjoy the show was familiar with her she looked great with her weight loss had pictures taken with her after the show.

What a enjoyable evening attending the Etta May comedy show. She is great, we drove 5 hours to be able to see her and she did not disappoint. The complete show was fabulous! The Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center is very nice, clean, plenty of parking and seating and seats are great. Fabulous evening!

Etta May's show is described as having Southern Sass, and I'll add, Southern Sass without being crass. How nice to attend a show where I could cringe at the situations talked about by the two comedians, and not at the constant barrage of foul language that never adds anything to a performance. I'd read that Etta has great comic timing, and observed this throughout the show! Her details would go on for a while and then she'd get a little quiet, and finally drop the perfect comedic ending. There were other things that made Etta's show stand out for me. She started her show earlier than most. Yet there was ample time to have dinner nearby and make it without encountering big-city traffic. Even with an opening act, I was on my way home by 9 PM. I truly appreciated that. Driving after dark is no longer pleasant. The second thing was that she chose a venue outside the city of Milwaukee. The Saber Center was a lovely, large site attached to a high school. It was immaculately clean there, and the seating was comfortable with great leg room. Parking was easy; getting there was easy; getting out of the lot and headed home was EASY, making the entire evening perfect. No expensive parking or waiting for an hour in a high-rise lot to get lost in the city once you hit a side street needing 16 turns to get you to the interstate because everything is one-way. Overall, this was a show that is in the top tier of any I've gone to, simply because the patron was valued rather than the artist. Etta's a hard worker. She is personable, and greeted her fans after the show while selling her swag. She shook my hand because I'd dressed as an Etta-head with a print blouse, sweater, and bandana. She posed for pictures and didn't rush anyone. Finally, ticket prices were reasonable, and she allowed the students to sell refreshments, so a bottle of water was a dollar! She "gets" her followers. No breaking the bank to enjoy her performance and enjoy a fun evening out.

Etta May's show was awesome!!!! However, the the venue in Inverness was an open air venue with folding chairs, which was not disclosed at the time of purchasing the tickets. Ticket price was too high for this type of venue. The venue itself is very nice, but not set-up for this type of show. There was a lot of confusion of where your seat location was and not clearly marked. Venue seating staff were even confused, looked like keystone cops. Venue manager was extremely rude to guess. Only giving my honest opinion.

This event was a lot of fun. Other than staff not familiar with seating and therefore very slow, long single line, just to get in the door. After seating, I went to the only food truck at the event and they only sold water, mt. dew, and Fanta orange. Disappointing for a diabetic. But the show! It was really funny. My husband was tickled because I laughed really loud. Would love to go again. The price was a little high for the lack of accommodations but I do believe that is the economy that we are presently in. Just keep making us laugh.

Etta May is a legend before her time!!! She is a brilliant comedian with impeccable timing during her show. The best part is, she loves her fans as much as we love her, taking time after the show to meet with the fans after the show and was more than happy to visit with each one as they came to her. She has an incredible personality and spirit!!! My experience was so much more than I could have imagined it would be. I will be going to see her again and again…. Love you Etta May, you have a special place in my heart!!! God bless you always…

Absolutely wonderful! Comedy Off Broadway in Lexington, KY is a small comedy house. This makes the show so much more personal. Drinks are a little expensive and wish they offered like a bar mix to munch on. First time seeing Etta May and she did not disappoint. It was a great show. My husband and I laughed so hard. Everyone in the audience seemed to really enjoy it also. I would definitely go back to this comedy house and hope to get a chance to see Etta May again.

The Show at the Sugar Creek C****o was crazy. We had so much fun. The was some drunk lady that kept yell out to me stupid stuff. So I just stopped my show and said, " I want every man in this audience to look at the woman they love tonight and THANK GOD YOU AIN'T WITH THAT CRAZY DRUNK B***H OVER THERE!" Standing Ovation!!!! Love, Love, Love Oklahoma!!!

Etta Mae showed up on my Facebok feexd one day and I listen to her skit. I had my girlfriend listen to her and we both laughed from the beginning until the end. Needless to say a month later we found out that she was playing in Pittsburgh. We live in Cherry Hill New Jersey and drove this 6 hours to see Etta perform. It was worth the drive! Not only did she put on a great performance, she was excellent in involving the audience. She's funny, she's engaging, and best of all she was a warm human being afterwards and made my girlfriend's day when she signed her t-shirt. This is one birthday my girlfriend will never forget! From the gal who yell out theat great s*x must have been the reason the jilted bride married the groom 20 years later.

Etta May is a very bright and entertaining Comedian. She had us laughing great for the full 90 minutes. Well, except for one comment about Biden from audience member that had her laughing so bad she went to her knees. She included Appreciation for Veterans, and her waxing routine was to die for! I will try and she her whenever she comes close to Hopkinsville, KY. And she would fill up the Bruce Center here, and maybe sell more Merchandise than usual. I bought a T-Shirt which she autographed, and a DVD. Now I also wish I had bought the CD to play in the vehicle while driving around, I have followed her on the computer for a while, and when I saw her close enough to attend, I went for it. Bought 2 tickets, but the one who was to go did no show. So, I sat with just myself and my Oxygen tanks. Make a couple of friends and saw one friend. I will recommend her to any who enjoy laughing. She did a bit of Lion King sound, and it was just like the movie. She also made her Chinese people doing waxing sound like she knew Chinese. After the show, she takes time for the fans, and will hug and have pictures taken with each one. Making all of us feel very special. Keep coming near Hopkinsville, KY and I will keep coming to the shows. This show is 5 Stars!!

I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard for a solid and a half. She is so quick-witted and has great interaction with the audience. Just good clean comedy. I hope she returns to the Pittsburgh area. Warning- bring lots of tissues to wipe your tears from laughing!

The show was great, the seats in the pit were horrible. We drove in from Dallas on Friday for the Saturday night show. Celebrating our 23rd anniversary, we were front row center. Loved every minute of the show, but my but still hurt on Sunday after sitting there for 2 hours. Love Etta May, would do it again...

We loved Jodi White and Sonya White. Both of them held our interest and provided many laughs. Sonya White's impersonations and sounds were great. We really laughed at the Reba McEntire skit though probably inappropriate. Bought a Sonya White t-shirt afterward. We hope to see both of them in the future. Etta May was difficult to hear and understand. Her voice would trail off at the end of each section. Also, we have seen her do the same act on Facebook. That is not her fault. It is hard to be "fresh" at every performance. Unfortunately, we would probably not return for another appearance. The facility is awesome. We hope to come back for another show/performance. Thank you.

The first two comedians were great! I enjoyed all 3, but my most favorite was the first comedian, then Jody/Jodi (?), then Etta May. It appeared Etta May was trying new stuff; and it was great; just didn't flow quite as well as the other 2 comedians. I would definitely recommend this show. Drove from TN and spent the night.

Etta May was fabulous and we can not wait to see her again. The venue however was not the best. The people that worked there or volunteered stood behind us and talked loudly quite a few times, we finally had to ask them to shhh. Also the lobby was directly behind us and they allowed guest for the next show to stand and they also talked very loudly, it was very distracting. We will not attend any other events there.
