About Click Click

Brothers Adrian and Derek E Smith worked separately in music for 10 years before finally collaborating in the band Those Nervous Surgeons. Became Half Nervous for one gig before stealing Bikini Amber's guitarist, Richard Camp, to form the first version of Click Click in 1982. This version recorded The Silver Single before splitting to pursue new directions. Richard Camp formed the blues band Blind Dog Beerbelly while the brothers continued as Click Click version 2, an electronics based duo augmented by various floating members including Pete Hosier (who remained with the band throughout their existence.)
Recorded Behind Dark Glasses at their Lung Function HQ. Made a gentlemen's agreement with Dec Hickey's Rorschach Testing label and recorded Sweet Stuff. Jon Morris joined as second Wasp technician during 1986 prior to recording Party Hate and Skripglow. Signed to Play It Again Sam in 1987 to record Rorschach Testing, I Rage I Melt, Yakutska and Bent Massive. Jon Morris replaced by Graham Stronach on guitar during 1987, Graham remained with the band until its implosion at the end of 1989. Reformed briefly during 1997 to record Shadowblack for OffBeat. Recorded several instrumentals during 1998 but decided to call it a day before their volatile relationship suffered yet another setback.
2004 arrives along with assistance from Sonic Groove Records of New York.
RELAX/PLEASURE & PAIN released on limited edition 12".
The relationship does not suffer too much in the process. Only small disagreements ensue...no injuries reported.

LATEST: Lung Function, a collection of remastered early and unreleased tracks available October 2008 via Dependent, iTunes and other leading download portals.
