I've been dying to see Cheeks live for a year now. She brings so much energy to the stage. You can tell through her dancing how passionate this girl is and how much joy it gives her. As soon as I saw the catwalk I knew it was going to be an amazing show.. And chela didn't diss splint. The night came to climax when she invited the audience to come on stage and dance with her. Eagerly awaiting the next concert and a new album!!!

Originally hailing from Fremantle, musician, songwriter, producer and filmmaker Chela (aka Chelsea Wheatley) is best known as one of Australia’s most adventurous musicians.
Based in Los Angeles up until COVID struck, Chela has achieved much international acclaim releasing ‘Romanticise’ (co-produced with DCUP) and ‘Zero’ with French tastemaker label Kitsune, and beloved singles including ‘Delivery', ‘Handful Of Gold’ and ‘Bad Habit’.
Having now amassed over 20 million+ streams across her own releases and has collaborated with the likes of Goldroom on his summer anthem ‘Fifteen’, Clubfeet on their highly rotated single ‘Heartbreak’, electronic heavyweight Damian Lazarus on ‘Five Moons’, and she’s also featured alongside Kathleen Hanna and Tavi Gevinson on queer pop-punk cult hero’s Seth Bogart project and with NYC’s Gus Dapperton on his 2020 track ‘My Say So’.
Now, having returned to Australia, based in Eora/Sydney, Chela is set to prove it really is ‘Cool 2B Queer’.
