Norway has long been home to great songs that pique interest of fans the world over, and CLMD are certainly now part of that tradition. The act’s celebrated singles such as 2013’s “Stockholm Syndrome” have been certified platinum many times over in CLMD’s native country, and support continues to grow from all areas within electronic music community for CLMD’s particular brand of house music. What started as a childhood dream in a basement in the small town of Snarøya, Norway, has grown into an international brand and one of Norway’s biggest musical exports. Previously a duo consisting of Carl Louis and Martin Danielle, CLMD is now a brand and concept driven forward by founding member Martin Danielle. “The vision is to create an audio and visual experience where creativity, art, music and pop-culture all blends into an electronic musical fusion fest,” Danielle explains. After past singles such as “Stockholm Syndrome”, “Black Eyes & Blue” (chosen as the opening track for the Ultra Music festival After Movie in 2013) and “Wild Men” racking up airplay from England’s BBC Radio 1 to American Satellite radio mainstays such as Sirius XM, CLMD returned with a bang in 2016. In CLMD’s most productive and successful year ever, he released 5 singles, where all of which were playlisted on several of the most prominent radio stations in the world and racking up close to 20 million streams on Spotify. With singles released on labels such as Sony/Columbia, Ultra, Axtone, SIZE, Atlantic/Big Beat, and Armada/Trice, it is no wonder that CLMD has continued to grab the attention of the EDM industry. Everyone from Pete Tong, to Axwell, Steve Angello and Tiesto have their ears to the ground when new material is released and presented. DJ support for CLMD comes from the biggest names in the game such as Aviici, Axwell, Thomas Gold, Eric Morillo, Zedd, Danny Howard and more. Often referred to as new school house heroes, CLMD has toured all over the UK, Europe and Brazil since they began in 2010.
