An Dochas, Gaelic for “The Hope”, captivates audiences of all ages with their lively interpretation of traditional Irish music. The band members’ individual cultural and musical backgrounds culminate in a sound that is as dynamic as it is poignant. With a foundation of authentic instrumentation – Uileann pipes, bodhran, fiddle, mandolin and guitar – the band blends new and old, elegantly incorporating contemporary sounds into their diverse repertoire.
